  1. This is the status window.  The progress of the formatting and/or error messages are all displayed here.

  3. Enter the name of the new disk(s) here.  Note: A disk name cannot exceed 27 characters!

  5. If the checkbox is selected then the number here will be appended after the New disk name field.
  6.  
  7. If this checkbox is selected then after the disk has been formatted it will automatically be ejected.  (Command-E)
  8.  
  9. With this box selected ANY disk inserted into any drive will be automatically formatted.  Note: There is NO warning given if an already formatted disk is inserted.  (Command-U)
  10.  
  11. If this checkbox is selected then the number in the field to the right will be appended after the default disk name.  (Command-A)
  12.  
  13. If this checkbox is selected then a single chime will be sounded after the disk has been formatted.  The sound can be selected via the Sound Menu.  (Command-I)
  14.  
  15. Activates/deactivates the internal context sensitive help.  (Command-H)
  16.  
  17. Quits the program.  The status of all fields and checkboxes are saved.  (Command-Q)
